It's official.
The owls are no longer in my classroom - well most of them are gone. I had to keep a few favorites.
The new theme has been decided.
I had originally thought I wanted to do a sports theme, but soon realized that it really isn't me. I felt very constricted with that theme.
I like color and lots of it.
I have decided to do chalkboard and neon decor. I have completely jumped on the chalkboard bandwagon. I love all things chalkboard.
I am pumped about this theme. I cannot wait until I can get back in my classroom and start transforming it.

Adorable! I hope you will post pictures when your classroom is all put together at the end of the summer! Do you have a Dollar Tree by you? If you do, check it out- a teacher in my school bought all these neon post it type papers (probably meant for garage sale advertising or something like that) and used them for headers/titles on her class jobs bulletin board and rules, etc. It looks awesome on black paper! Good luck!
