The One With Sunshine

Friday in the midst of chaos around my house I received my first SLANTbox.

I was so excited to open it and was not disappointed by its contents.

There were two new toys for my sweet furbabies.  I love that Rachel included them.  They received a yellow frisbee and this little yellow stuffed dog.

Liberty Belle was so excited about it.  She loves toys like this but we don't ever buy them because they never last more than thirty minutes.  She tears them up quickly.  I'm happy to say this one is still going strong after almost a week.

It was a few days before Lincoln Baxter got to play with it because Liberty hogged it for the first few days.

There was lots of sunshine for me too.

How cute are these towels and napkins?

There was also some candy but my husband and I devoured that before I could take a picture.

I loved the postcard with the handwritten note.  Possibly my favorite thing in the box.  :)

Thank you Rachel for my a great first SLANTbox.  I cannot wait to participate again.

The One with Neon Decor: Monday Made It

Monday Made Its are one of my most favorite things about summer.  I look forward to them each week.  The teachers who participate share some amazing ideas.  I will confess that I don't get much done on Mondays because I spend hours and hours looking at everyone's posts.

Here are a few of my Monday Made Its for the week.

Our new curriculum for 6th grade focuses on team work.  I found this little acrostic in the curriculum and decided to create a poster to hang in my room as a constant reminder.

I think the acrostic would work in any classroom, not just math.  It is available in my TPT store, if you would like to snatch it up.

I also painted these canvases to hang in my classroom.  They are 10x10

Please excuse the messy background.

I followed this tutorial to make paper fans.  I then added my table number signs that I created on my computer.  I plan to hang these above each table.

Leave a comment with your email address before 7PM on Tuesday and I will send you the table signs for FREE.
